Early Treatment
What is the difference between early treatment and regular orthodontic treatment?
Early treatment is for children as young as age 7 who have growth discrepancy issues that if not addressed at an early age may lead to surgery, extraction or loss of teeth, or damage to their jaw joints. The American Association of Orthodontists recommend that children see an orthodontist at age 7 for a wellness evaluation. Remember, not every child needs treatment this early. But Dr. Miller is happy to screen your child and do a complete free exam. You do not need a dental referral. It is our goal to provide a warm comfortable introduction to our office.
